I'm not doing the MC5 tour, been replaced by Faith No More's Billy Gould. Gould will appear at each of the tour's 35 dates. There was no drama and I love the guys. We all got along great and I've made great friends for a lifetime and I had a great time playing the three European shows, but I was just not the right guy for the job. Much respect and I wish the guys a very successful tour.

Legendary King's X front-man dUg Pinnick will release "Tribute To Jimi" (Often Imitated But Never Duplicated) a special limited print tribute album to the legendary guitarist Jimi Hendrix on May 18, 2018 via Rat Pak Records. "Tribute To Jimi" was recorded at Blacksound Studios, Pasadena, CA and was co-produced by dUg Pinnick and Michael Parnin and mastered by Kurdt Vanderhoof.

It was designed in collaboration with dUg to create a single amp capable of achieving the unique sound he developed by running a guitar amp and a bass amp together, plus using a handful of effects, to merge high-end distortion with low-end bass.
